Practicum/Internship Opportunities

This position is for those focusing on social work, public health, nonprofit business management, systems thinking, communications, research/evaluation, diversity/equity/inclusion, and grant management. Many opportunities are college credit-based, volunteer internship positions that offer hands on, portfolio building experience. Along with your experience, you will get free membership to MOAIMH-EC.


Who are you?

  • Applicants should be seniors in college or master's level students. Successful candidates are students studying Social Work, Policy, Public Health, System Dynamics, Early Childhood Education, Non-profit Management, Communications, Business, Marketing, or other related subject areas.

  • Someone with a flexible schedule and can support one or more committees and MOAIMH-EC events.

  • An independent, creative and passionate advocate for infant and early childhood mental health who is excited for the opportunity to work with professionals from across the state. 


What will you do?

  • Communicate professionally with MOAIMH-EC members and committees.

  • Engage in marketing and outreach to external organizations and individuals through utilization of social media, email blasts, and more.

  • Organize and support implementation and tracking of the goals for committees.

  • Serve as task support for committee chairs and MOAIMH-EC board members.

  • Engage in weekly supervision sessions to discuss progress, updates, and projects.

  • Areas of focus: Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, Outreach, Advocacy, Organization and Communication
